A big well done to Sempai Joanna on the successful completion of her shodan-ho (probationary black belt) examination at the recent National Training Camp of Shorinjiryu Koshinkai Karatedo, held at Coolum over the weekend of 8-110 April. She did herself and all at the Kengokan Dojo proud with her excellent performance. Sempai Joanna will go on to complete her promotion to shodan (1st Dan black belt) later this year.
Congratulations to Chrissy on her promotion to 1st Kyu (brown belt black tip) in April. Chrissy has been training hard, and her efforts were recognised by our chief instructors, Shihan Jim Griffin and Shihan Max Estens, at the National Training Camp. Chrissy’s promotion was presented by Renshi Des and Sensei Adrian.
